Account Manager Nordics
Account Manager Nordics: grow an established client portfolio, advise senior tech leaders on talent and AI, and shape how a high-growth international team wins and retains business.
About Proxify

When internal demand for tech skills arises, we deliver carefully vetted, tailored developers within 48 hours, removing traditional hiring delays so clients can move fast. Increasingly, we also deliver fixed-scope AI and agentic workflow projects, helping clients put AI to work inside their businesses.
Recognised by the Financial Times as the 3rd fastest-growing company in Sweden (2025), and a member of the Deloitte Fast 50 Sweden (2024), we're trusted by startups, scale-ups and global brands like Securitas, Electrolux and Lufthansa.
Role overview
As an Account Manager for the Nordics, you will own a portfolio of established clients from day one and be responsible for growing it. Your job is to make sure every client gets real value from Proxify's engineers, and to find and win the next team, department and budget owner inside each account.
This is an expansion role, not a maintenance one. You will be measured on two things: how much the engineering teams we place with your clients grow, and how well we retain them. You will work alongside a Client Manager and an Account Executive in a small team where each person owns their function end to end, so you will have a real say in how we manage clients.
What you will do
Map each account to find new stakeholders such as emerging teams, department heads and budget owners.
Build multi-threaded relationships so partnerships never depend on a single contact.
Use existing champions to reach adjacent teams and open new opportunities.
Uncover hiring and delivery needs in departments we do not yet serve, and convert them into expansion.
Engage regularly with CTOs, Heads of Engineering and other senior technical stakeholders on their tech resourcing, AI and delivery plans.
Lead commercial discussions on pricing, scope and delivery models, and negotiate agreements that expand accounts.
Run a structured account cadence: QBRs, monthly check-ins, on-site visits and account plans, and keep stakeholder maps current in the CRM.
Work closely with Client Engineering and delivery teams to match developers to client needs and ensure quality and fit.
Monitor account health, flag risks early and act on them.
Must-have
3 to 5 years managing and growing mid-market B2B accounts in technology services, software, staffing or consulting, with a proven track record of expanding accounts and retaining clients in the Nordics.
Experience selling to CTOs, Heads of Engineering or similar technical buyers, backed by credible technical fluency from hands-on roles or close collaboration with engineering teams.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills; comfortable discussing pricing, project scope and delivery models with senior stakeholders.
Proactive by default. You challenge how things are done and bring your own ideas for how clients should be managed.
Professional fluency in Swedish and English, and willingness to meet clients in person: regular visits in Stockholm, travel within the Nordics, and occasional trips to client headquarters elsewhere.
Experience with CRM platforms, forecasting and account planning.
Nice-to-have
Actively use AI tools in your own work and can speak credibly about AI with technical clients.
Prior experience in outbound sales or new business development.
Experience in staffing, developer sourcing or talent solutions.
An existing network of technology, digital or business leaders across the Nordics.
Comfortable collaborating with a distributed international team.
Why you will love this opportunity
📈 Inherit an established Nordic portfolio and be measured on growing it, with a commission model that rewards expansion.
🤖 Sell more than staffing: help clients adopt AI and agentic workflows at the moment the market is moving.
🧭 Shape how a small, senior Nordics team manages clients rather than following a playbook someone else wrote.
❤️ Be part of a high-performing yet humble, supportive and tech-savvy team.
✈️ Work in a truly international company of 39 nationalities, with occasional in-person meetups.
