About the role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for the DACH market, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and supporting our growth efforts. Working closely with Account Executives, Client Engineers, and the wider commercial team, you will help guide potential customers through the early stages of their journey with Proxify.
Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify decision-makers via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events.
Engage with prospects (300+) over the phone weekly.
Strategically focus on creating and following up on target lists within SMB accounts.
Ensure a great handover to Client Managers and Account Managers.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to analyze and improve your sales initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with the commercial team and contribute to moving opportunities through the early sales stages, helping create a strong foundation for long-term client relationships.
Target Customers
Mid-sized to large companies (50–2000 employees) across various industries in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Must-Have
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Some experience in sales, business development, customer-facing roles, or lead generation.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Curiosity about technology and how businesses solve problems.
A goal-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
Native German and fluent English (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
Experience in SaaS, recruitment, staffing, or technology-related industries.
Exposure to CRM systems and outbound prospecting tools.
Interest in technology, software development, or the tech industry.
