We are growing fast and are currently looking for Senior Data Engineers / GCP Consultants.

We are building a team of the best Data Engineer and Cloud Architects. We currently have several data and cloud related projects soon starting. We are looking for Senior Data Engineers / GCP Consultants to join on a remote basis a team of our client - the world leading cosmetic company which is now looking for a Data engineer to help them accelerate in their journey. They need a Data Engineer and GCP consultant to guide them when transforming their retail data.

Role

In this role, you will work cross-functionally as a Data Analytics Solutions Subject Matter Expert to paint the vision of data strategy on Google Cloud. You'll build powerful solutions in Google Cloud Platform with strong technical features, helping to design architectures, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential roadblocks related to analytics workloads and projects. You will architect the best solutions for the client using Google Cloud’s technology. You'll contribute experience in data analytics strategies and data engineering. You'll use your skills with big data processing and traditional data warehouse knowledge and bring a functional understanding of cloud technology, enterprise security, cloud identity, and troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements

• You have +5 years experience in Data Engineering;
• You have +5 years experience with GCP (advanced level);
• You have +4 years of experience with Python; 
• Ability to guide and consult the client;
• Being comfortable in taking a leading role in the development;
• Experience in data and information management as it relates to Big Data or relational databases;
• You have +4 years of experience in SQL; 
• DevOps experience is a plus; 
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Team

Currently no other GCP consultants working in the team right now. Work will be in close contact to their Data & Analytics manager.
